Homes For Sale in Fountain Hills Arizona

Look for the insanely high fountain!

If you've been to Fountain Hills, you've probably noticed the artificial geyser that can be seen from the air when people fly into Phoenix. Homes in Fountain Hills are generally more expensive than houses in the nearby North Scottsdale Arizona area, but this is because they are worth it. In Fountain Hills, you can get homes on the cliffside, enjoy large homes with fantastic desert views, and gamble in a casino that is only a few minutes away. Every year the Fountain Hills Great Fair combines a carnival atmosphere with local art showings.

With the McDowell Mountain Preserve located adjacent to town, and a national forest (featuring more saguaro cacti and desert brush than trees) on the other side of the highway, Fountain Hills is a great place to buy a home, or just visit for the frisbee golf course that surrounds the central lake. People who prefer an escape to milder climates often take the Beeline Highway (State Route 87) up to Payson during the summer months, or go in the winter when they want to remember what snow looks like. Otherwise, the Fort McDowall Casino is a great place to visit or stay, with a top notch hotel for meetings and vacations alike. The hotel and casino are also great for real estate investors who are from out of state (or from Canada) and seek to see why people are flocking to this little oasis outside the big city.
